Escape from neon city

Escape from Neon City is a side scrolling shoot ‘em up game with beautiful hand-drawn graphics, and multi-layer parallax effect with objects reflected in the water.

Inspired by many genre classics, the player-controlled spaceship can launch missiles and shoot several different enemy types. There are three different levels consisting of different backgrounds and soundtracks, with increasing difficulty curve. The enemies are randomly generated for improved replayability.

How long can you survive?

 

Controls (Windows, Mac, Linux):

“wasd or arrows” – move the spaceship

“f or space” – fire missiles and shoot

 

Score:

- Asteroid, Enemy Spaceship, Ship – 5 points

- Boss – 10 points
